A tired older summer cottage gave way for this new year-round lake home. The challenge of the height difference from the road to the lake was answered with a split-level main floor, which also allowed some nice volume ceilings on the main living level. Great lake views abound from inside as well as out on the deck. A continuous walkway is provided outside along the home to give guests a clear and easy pathway to the lake. The unique and striking combination of exterior siding and colors really makes this home stand out from both the road and the lake!
