Pennings & Sons 2026 Virtual Parade of Homes Entry “V1”

What began as a seasonal lake cottage has been transformed into a comfortable year-round lake home with expanded living space, updated style, and improved everyday function. Pennings & Sons completed a major overhaul of the original home, including a new second level with additional bedrooms, refreshed exterior finishes, stone accents, larger windows, and an attached garage.

Inside, the home now features a bright, open layout designed for lake living. The recently remodeled kitchen includes white perimeter cabinetry, a contrasting wood island, quartz countertops, a custom wood range hood, hexagon tile backsplash, statement lighting, built-in appliances, open shelving, and a beverage bar area.

The primary suite was also reworked to include a new full bathroom with a double vanity, walk-in tile shower, black fixtures, and a custom walk-in closet. The entry from the garage now functions as a full mudroom and laundry area, complete with cabinetry, storage, a utility sink, and a bench for daily use.
